Learn how to easily activate your subscription to Genesis Connected Services. Troubleshoot any issues you might encounter with our support.

With your new Connected Services subscription, you’ll have access to exclusive features. If, after 24 hours, you are unable to access your remote features, you may need to manually activate your system. Follow the instructions below for your specific audio/visual unit to find out how to set up your system and begin enjoying your subscription.

For Vehicles with AVN 2.0:
STEP 1:

Turn vehicle and the Navigation system ON. Then, press the Genesis button.

 
STEP 2:

Press the Genesis Settings selection to enter the Settings screen.

 
STEP 3:

Select “Service Activation” and then the “Activation” icon.

 
STEP 4:

Reactivation in progress (this may take several minutes).

 
STEP 5:

Once the screen displays “Genesis Enrollment Successful,” press “OK.” To verify re-activation while vehicle power is set to “ON,” press the Genesis button on your rearview mirror. If you hear the voice command options, your services are activated and you can press the same button to end.

 
IN CASE OF ACTIVATION ERROR:
 
STEP 6:

Select “Service Activation” and then the “Activation” icon.

 
STEP 7:

Wait for approximately 30 seconds at this screen.

 
STEP 8:

Press the small reset detent near the “DISP” button with a ball point pen.

 
STEP 9:

The system will reboot.

 
STEP 10:

Select “Agree.”

 
STEP 11:

Repeat steps 1-5.

 

For Vehicles with AVN 4.x:
STEP 1:
Turn vehicle and the Navigation system ON. Then, press the Genesis button.
STEP 2:
Press the Genesis Settings selection to enter the Settings screen.
STEP 3:
Select “Service Activation” and then the “Activation” icon.

For Vehicles with DIS 3.0:
STEP 1:
Press “HOME” button to access the HOME menu screen.
STEP 2:
Scroll to select “Setup.”
STEP 3:
Select “Genesis Connected Services.”
STEP 4:
Select “Service Activation.”
STEP 5:
Keep the vehicle on until the process is complete. You will see a confirmation pop-up if successful.
