Owning and charging a new Genesis is now easier than ever. 

Starting March 1, 2025, Genesis EV buyers/lessees are elibible for a new charging benefit*, which offeres Guests a chioce between

 - A complimentary Level 2 home charger;

OR

- An out-of-home charging credit to use on ChargePoint®’s network. This charging benefit offers customers the ability to choose the option thath works best for them- whether it’s the convenience of home charging or access to a vast network of 87,000+ public chargers through ChargePoint and its roaming partners, including IONNA, EVGo, Shell and many more. 

What is new for you?

Some charging networks, including Electrify America, previously offered unlimited charging packages. As those programs have ended, Genesis has introduced this new charging benefit to provide greater flexibility and convenience for EV drivers:

• Access a broader public charging network with multiple providers if you opt for public charging.

If you purchased or leased your Genesis EV before March 1, 2025:

You will continue to enjoy three years of 30-minute charging sessions with Electrify America, starting from the date of purchase/lease—nothing changes for you.

• If you purchase or lease a Genesis EV between March 1- 31, 2025:
• You qualify for the new charging program.
• However, you will need to wait until April 1, 2025, when the benefit goes live on the Genesis Home Marketplace, to redeem it. Genesis Home Marketplace is a hub for EV owners to set up charging, solar panels, and home energy solutions.

How to Redeem Your New Charging Benefit:

Starting April 1, 2025, you may visit Genesis Home Marketplace to activate your benefit.

     Owners will be able to choose from the following:

• Complimentary Level 2 home charger. Paid installation through Genesis Home is required to receive EV charger.

              - OR -

• $500 out-of-home charging credit through ChargePoint
• Enjoy convenient charging wherever your Genesis takes you.

      Included models:

• 2024 – 2025 GV60, EGV70
• 2024 E G80
•  2026 ALL EV MODELS      

Here is a quick breakdown of eligibility details:

Home Charger Redemption Process: 

Starting April 1, 2025:

Step 1) Go to Genesis Marketplace website.      

Step 2) Click on “Find Offer” at the bottom left corner

Step 3) Create Profile and Unlock your Exclusive Offer by following the prompts and entering your information.

Note:

• Guests have two (2) years from date of redemption to use the $500 charging credit.

* Eligible customers who purchase or lease a new 2024-2026 GV60, 2024-2026 Electrified GV70, or 2024 or 2026 Electrified G80 vehicle (each an “Eligible Vehicle”) from a participating Genesis retailer between March 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025 can receive either a hardwired Level 2 ChargePoint® Home Flex EV charger (“Charger”) or a $500 out-of-home charging credit with ChargePoint (“Charging Credit”). Customer must take delivery of Eligible Vehicle from new retail stock and execute lease or purchase contract by December 31, 2025. Eligible Customers who purchase or lease an Eligible Vehicle between March 1, 2025 and March 31, 2025 (“Early Purchasers”) must redeem the Charger Offer by May 30, 2025 and hardwired installation of the Charger must be completed by July 25, 2025. Early Purchasers who select the Charging Credit Offer must redeem the Charging Credit Offer by May 30, 2025.  Charger offer cannot be redeemed in AK. Depending on the offer selected, customer will receive a coupon code for the Charger or Charging Credit. Coupon code will be sent via email within approximately five business days of offer redemption. Customers who select the Charger offer have 60 days from Eligible Vehicle lease or purchase contract date to redeem the Charger offer. Paid installation through Genesis Home is required to receive the Charger. Hardwired installation of the Charger must be scheduled through the Genesis Home Marketplace (https://genesishomemarketplace.com) and completed within 120 days of Eligible Vehicle lease or purchase contract date. Installation is conducted at customer’s expense by third party electricians sourced through Genesis Home and contracted by customers. Initial deposit required and additional costs apply. Hardwired installation available on select residential property only. Customers who select the Charging Credit offer have 60 days from Eligible Vehicle lease or purchase contract date to redeem the Charging Credit offer. Customers will have two (2) years from the date of redemption to use the Charging Credit. The 2026 GV60 will be available in Summer 2025.
