As part of our commitment to enhancing your electric vehicle experience, we are pleased to offer you a complimentary NACS charging adapter (the “Adapter” or “Genesis Supplied/Approved Adapter”), allowing your eligible Genesis vehicle to charge on networks that utilize the North American Charging Standard (NACS). These NACS Adapter Terms (these “Terms”) govern your use of the Adapter. By accepting this offer, by clicking any “I accept” button or link, or by updating your shipping or account details, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and the “Resolving Disputes” section of the Connected Services Agreement applicable to your vehicle and which is made available to you at Connected Services Agreement Terms and Conditions which section is incorporated by reference and made a part of these Terms. Note that the “Resolving Disputes” section includes binding arbitration, a jury trial waiver, a class action waiver, and a class or mass arbitration waiver; please read these terms carefully as they may affect your rights. In these Terms, “Genesis,” “we,” “our,” and “us” means Genesis Motor America, and its affiliates, parent company, successors and assigns, and Genesis retailers in the United States.

The Genesis Intelligent Assistant mobile app may enable charging and related functionality for NACS-compatible networks. Please note, this feature will be implemented in stages across different vehicle models. Check your specific vehicle’s compatibility and app version for the most up-to-date charging capabilities.

The Adapter is the only compatible adapter approved for use with your Genesis vehicle. The Genesis vehicle warranties do not cover damage to your vehicle caused by the use of charging adapters other than the Genesis Supplied/Approved Adapter. Any damage determined to have resulted from the use of non-Genesis adapters will be your sole responsibility. The Adapter is not intended for any use other than charging your Genesis vehicle with NACS-compatible DC fast charging stations. The Adapter may not be used for charging at AC level 2 or AC level 1 chargers with J1772 connectors. The Adapter may not be used for any other purpose. You are solely responsible for following any instructions or warnings included with your Adapter, these Terms, and in your digital owner’s manual located at https://owners.genesis.com/manuals.

The Adapter enables your vehicle to interface with Tesla Supercharger locations throughout the United States. To locate compatible Tesla Superchargers, you must either activate Genesis Connected Services on your vehicle, enroll in Genesis Pay, and activate charging in your Genesis Intelligent Assistant mobile app or create a Tesla account and download the Tesla app on your iOS or Android device. Users of Tesla charging stations may only use adapters sold or provided by Tesla or by other automakers in the United States.

Please note that publicly available charging networks, including Tesla Superchargers, are provided by independent companies and are subject to their own respective policies and terms and are not within Genesis’s control. Genesis is not responsible for changes to their services, fees, or availability. Charging costs and any required equipment upgrades are your sole responsibility.

Eligibility: This offer is available exclusively to current owners of Genesis electric vehicles that were purchased on or before January 31, 2025. Offer may only be redeemed for one Adapter per electric vehicle, identified by their unique Vehicle Identification Number.  Eligible owners must redeem this offer by placing an order within sixty (60) days’ receipt of the invitation to participate.  Eligible owners must redeem this offer by placing an order within sixty (60) days of receipt of the invitation to participate in this offer. Eligible owners have until May 23, 2025 to update their information on MyGenesis, including their email address and shipping address. Final redemption emails will be sent to eligible owners by May 30, 2025

The maximum aggregate liability of Genesis to you under any theory (including but not limited to fraud, misrepresentation, breach of contract, personal injury, or products liability) is limited to $100. Neither you nor Genesis can recover (1) punitive or exemplary damages, (2) treble, consequential, indirect, incidental or special damages, or (3) attorneys’ fees (except in connection with indemnification claims as provided in these Terms). You and Genesis agree not to make, and to waive to the fullest extent allowed by law, any claim for damages other than direct, actual, compensatory damages as limited in these Terms.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Genesis harmless for any damage, loss, or claim experienced by any party, including third-party charging network providers, caused by your failure to comply with these Terms or your misuse of any third-party charging networks or equipment. You agree that Genesis would not have agreed to provide the Adapter to you if you did not agree to this limitation. This amount is the sole and exclusive liability of Genesis and any other third party beneficiaries to you, and is payable as liquidated damages and not as a penalty.
