Genesis Connected Services (with Advance subscription option) gives Genesis owners convenient remote access to select vehicle features such as remote start, climate control features, and emergency services. It’s easier than ever to register  your Genesis vehicle as a subsquent owner so that all Genesis drivers can experience the benefits that Genesis Connected Services offers.

How to Enroll as a Subsequent Owner

To enroll in Genesis Connected Services  as a secondary owner, follow the steps below:

1.      Documents which you will need to have ready: 

         b) Proof of ownership: Current Vehicle Registration or Insurance Card

        c) Valid US Driver's License

        d) Bill of Sale

        e) Valid U.S. Passport

2.      Remove the Previous Owner: If the car is still registered to the previous owner, remove the previous owner by going to Settings > "Deactivate Genesis Connected Services and reset to factory settings".

3.      Create Account: Go to MyGenesis or download the Genesis Intelligent Assistant app from the App Store or Google Play and register for a new account.

4.      Update Ownership: Click on Update Vehicle Ownership on the MyGenesis website, which will require you to add proof of ownership.

5.      Activate in Vehicle: Start the vehicle and select the Genesis Connected Services menu on the infotainment screen, then select "Service Activation" to begin the transfer.

6.      Complete Enrollment: Follow the prompts to set up a 4-digit PIN for remote features and confirm your service package.
